"Delichon Directors' Marathon Diaries"
That’s right! How could our two Directors, Martin and PJ, resist the offer of running 26.2 miles at this year's Flora London Marathon…and all in the name of charity as well! What nice folk the Delichon people are.
After 12 months of hard training pounding the local lanes, they successfully crossed the finish line in front of Buckingham Palace together in a respectable 5hrs:13mins:51secs.
All this commitment was in aid of Whizz-Kidz, a national charity that gives independence to disabled children and young people by providing mobility equipment. Whizz-Kidz also offers wheelchair training, specialist advice and support to young people and their families, and campaign to raise awareness of the needs of disabled children.
